History
Despite being under two and a half minutes, 'Little Wing' is considered one of the greatest guitar pieces ever recorded. Inspired by the vibes at Monterey Pop Festival, Hendrix created a dreamlike soundscape using his signature combination of rhythm and lead playing simultaneously. The glockenspiel and delicate production create an ethereal atmosphere unlike anything in rock at the time.
